The short version

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The trades and amounts you type are never sent to us or to anyone else, there are no accounts, and the site currently loads no analytics and no advertising. It also fetches no market data — the ticker field is a label, never a lookup.

What is stored on your device

Three preferences, in your browser's local storage: your theme choice (dark/light), your decimal precision, and your display currency. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them. The "Copy link" feature encodes the values you entered into a URL only when you press it, so you can share a calculation deliberately; nothing is encoded or sent otherwise. Legacy ?data= links from the previous version of this site are decoded locally in the same way.

What we receive

Standard web-server logs at our hosting provider (Cloudflare) — IP address, requested page, user agent — retained briefly for security and capacity purposes, as with essentially every website. We may in the future add privacy-respecting page-view analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages are useful; if we do, it will be noted here and in the changelog, it will run only on this domain, and it will never see the values you type.
